To kickstart our advent calendar, here’s a 7 Day Low GI Kick Start Plan by nutritional therapist, Alli Godbold. The plan includes 7 days of breakfasts, lunches and dinners which avoid simple sugars and refined carbohydrates. This plan works because it avoids surges of the hormone insulin, the storage hormone released when our sugar levels rise too high. All these great recipes are also gluten and dairy free!
